Matt Eich is an American photographic essayist who was born in Richmond, Virginia and is the author of five books of photographs. He makes long-form photobook works, often connected to themes of memory, family, community, and the American condition. Matt is an Associate Professor at Corcoran School of the Arts & Design at the George Washington University, creates commissioned work for a range of clients, and is the publisher of the independent imprint Little Oak.PRESS. He resides in Charlottesville, Virginia with his family.
